Hello and welcome to our blog post.

We hope you enjoy reading about our week and seeing our photos.

This week we have been learning about minibeasts and bugs.

We enjoyed making spiders from cardboard and fern stalks.

How many legs does a spider have ?

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 !!

We drew a giant web for our spiders to live on.

Don't they look amazing! Well done Acorns.

We made some fresh playdough.

Can you guess what colour we chose this time?

We had lots of fun in the garden.

Miss Njie helped us to make some ladybird and bee pictures - we printed with potatoes and then used brushed to add our details.

The pictures are amazing. What a great idea and something to easily recreate at home.

We had such fun !!

We read lots of books about minibeasts

We had fun exploring in the tuff tray - it was full of wonderful and exciting things.

Spiders with numbers, soil, tweezers, cooked spaghetti (worms) and tree bark.

We enjoyed a baking session - We made honey biscuits.

Everyone got involved weighing and measuring the ingredients.

We then rolled the dough into balls before popping them into the oven to bake.

We had the biscuits after lunch. They were delicious !

We enjoyed a lovely walk to the playground at Pickers Green and had a fabulous time playing on all of the equipment.

We saw lots of interesting things on route.

We saw a gentleman gardening, lawn mowers and a leaf blower.

Signs that Spring has arrived !

Here are a few extra photos from our week.

We hope you have a lovely weekend.

Thank you for taking the time to read our blog.

We look forward to your comments.
