Hello and welcome to our blog post. We hope that you enjoy reading about our week. This week our theme has been the Emergency Services and we have enjoyed learning about the special roles. Mrs Finney told us a story about some real Police officers and Police dogs. We leant about finger prints and how all of our prints are different. We used magnifying glasses to look at our own prints and then made prints using ink pads on paper. We enjoyed dressing up and lots of role play.

We have enjoyed talking about Police Officers, Fire Fighters, Drs and Nurses, Ambulance Technicians & Coast Guards. The children came up with some good ideas of people who can help us. “Teachers help us.” “A lollipop lady at school helps me to cross over the road when the cars are fast.” “The man in the post office helps.”
