Week commencing 9th December 2024 - Acorns 25 & 59 Combined.

We have had a wonderful week full of festive fun at The Acorns.

At the beginning of the week both nurseries put up their Christmas trees.

The children helped to unbox the tree and fluff out the branches before adding the colorful lights and pretty baubles.

It was such a lovely thing for us to do together.

The children talked about their trees at home and what they hoped Father Christmas might bring for them.

We listened to our Christmas music whilst we decorated the tree.

The children have done so well learning our Christmas songs - its such a joy to hear them happily singing to themselves during free play.

We are looking forward to our festive walk next week and singing a few of our songs for you afterwards.

We are trying to keep some of our crafts as a surprise - but here are just a few pics.
