Week commencing 3rd October 2016 - Westmeston

Another fabulous dry week at Westmeston.

This week we concentrated on Understanding the World, looking at People and Communities. We brought in lovely photos and items that were special to us and we told our friends about them.

We enjoyed dressing up as Policemen and builders and acted out scenarios through role play. We had the road safety equipment out and had lots of fun on our scooters zooming in and out of the road signs.

We have made the most of the dry weather and have all been on a walk this week. We became nature spotters and looked for pine cones and flowers as we went.

We have been so busy. We found a dragon egg in a walnut tree, investigated dragon slime and started to make Tracey Island with papier mache.

At the end of the week, what did we finally find? MUD! It was glorious and a couple of us lost our wellies in it! It was wonderful!

Next Week: Expressive Art and Design – Media and Material
